Located within Parramatta Park, the World Heritage listed Old Government House and its parkland setting of the Government Domain are of outstanding national heritage significance. This project involved the reinstatement of the Macquarie era carriage loop at the entrance to Old Government House, and included associated perimeter fencing and gates. The layout of the original carriage loop was accurately determined through a detailed historical mapping overlay process.
