The proposed development involves the construction of:
– a 2 -storey building comprising 8 x 1 bedroom units, and 10 x 2 bedroom units
– on grade parking
– associated landscaped areas

The proposal responds to the local built character through the use of a variety of roof forms and articulation of the building envelope, which is further enhanced through the application of different materials such as face brick and weatherboard. The materials palette is restrained and neutral, with paler hues contributing to a distinctly coastal character.

70% of the units provided enjoy mid-winter solar access for at least 3 hours.

McIntosh & Phelps and their consultant team were engaged for design services up to and including the development consent stage.
